The purpose of the NHYFSC is to provide youth with athletic and social activities that will promote sound bodies, keen minds, and competitive attitudes. Those traits will prepare them for productive adult lives in their community, state and nation; to familiarize them with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, and to provide them with an opportunity to play and compete in a supervised, organized and safe manner.
The conference consists of 25 member association’s state wide.The NHYFSC offers a quality experience that consists of:
Cheer competition that provides opportunities for region and national competition.
3 Fun cheer competitions coordinated by member associations.
Football and cheer levels that provide interaction with appropriate grade and age levels.
8 game football season, championship playoffs with opportunities for region and national competition.
Grade 8 All-star team that competes at the AYF national championship.
Academic Achievement awards that has provided $250,000 in scholarships since its inception.
Required background checks for volunteers.
