Blackstone Valley Youth Football & Cheerleading is excited to host the 2022 New England Region Cheerleading Competition for American Youth Cheer at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Providence, RI on November 19, 2022.
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THIS YEAR'S EVENT AT THE RHODE ISLAND CONVENTION CENTER!
With one-level spectator seating, elevated performance stage, 18 person judges panel, lights, music and action - the 2022 New England Region Championships is going to be a spectacular event, and the first of its kind for AYC New England.
Following your team's performance, you will be led to a special area to await the awards ceremony which will take place in a dedicated award's area.
NEW!! Reminder regarding the clear bag policy
For both of this weekend’s championship events, there are strict clear bag policies for SPECTATORS. There will be no exceptions.
Please remind all of your family and friends who may be coming out to support your child this weekend.
If you forget and arrive with a bag that is not clear, please note that we can not hold or store your bag for you. You will need to return to your vehicle or to your hotel room to store your bag before entering the facility.

Contact your cheer coordinator by Sunday, November 13 to pre-order your NE Championship bows. Bows are $15.
Cheer coordinators will pick-up bows during the cheer coaches meeting in Providence on Friday, November 18.
Cheer coordinators: Payment must be made by cash or Association check only addressed to Blackstone Valley Youth Football & Cheerleading. No credit cards or personal checks will be accepted at pick-up.
Bows will be for sale on the day of the event for $20 in the Wild Bows booth.

Ticket Sales - All sales are FINAL. Refunds will not be issued for any reason. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster for $30 per ticket. Children 3 & under are free. Please find the link below.

If you did not purchase a ticket ahead of time, you may purchase tickets on the day of the event (cash or credit) for $40.
Noise Makers - No noise makers of any kind, they can cause an unfair distraction to a team while performing.
Flash Photography - No flash photography is permitted as this can cause a safety issue, and can also affect the routine recordings.
Order of Appearance (OOA) - The schedule will be/ should have been emailed to you prior to attending the Competition. Please print out a copy and bring it with you to the event as there will not be any hard copies to be handed out. Also, please be patient if we need to change the OOA at any time in order to accommodate delays and team issues.
Judges - AT NO TIME SHOULD ANY SPECTATOR APPROACH THE JUDGES. Depending on the severity or nature of the interaction, it can lead to additional deductions to your own team.
Vendors - The following vendors will be at the venue selling cheer related items; Wild Bows, North West Designs, Cheer Couture, and MidCoast Photography. Not all of the vendors are able to Venmo, or take electronic payments so please be prepared with cash.
Concessions - Sodexho food services willl be selling food and drinks at the venue.
Cheerleader Holding Areas - These areas are for the Cheerleaders and Coaches only to prepare for their performance time. There will be volunteers stationed at these areas to prevent spectators from entering.
Multiple Session Event - The tickets that you are purchasing are good for the entire day. If you leave the arena, you will need to show your wristband in order to be allowed to return to the arena.
