Candlewood Valley Youth Football & Cheer League and Mid-Connecticut Youth Football & Cheer Conference would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the volunteers from Connecticut, Central Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island for their continued support throughout the year and during the 2009 New England Regional Cheer and Football events the weekend of November 21st & 22nd.

This was CVL and Midconn's maiden voyage in regards to hosting the New England Regionals and the first time the host organization had to complete the Regionals before the traditional Thanksgiving weekend. We can honestly say the weekend was a complete success! We had record breaking numbers at the Football Field with absolutely no problems thanks to Mayra Dawkins and the Meriden Organization along with all the football volunteers for the entire weekend.

The Cheer Competition was also a complete success with thanks to the continued support from Deb Hughes, Deb Smith, Diane Cecchetti, Lisa Humphrey, Julie Mullin and Jen Payer. All this would be impossible with out the CVL and Midconn volunteers at the XL Center who gave up there weekend to support and help (and even wear the prison orange shirts) Tina and Angie throughout a very long day.

Again, thank you to the best Region in the country! We always say this Region was truly built on friendships and it was obvious this weekend!!

Good luck to all Cheer and Footballs teams that will be advancing to the AYF/AYC Championships in Florida!

The photo raffle prize winners for the 2009 New England Regional Cheer Competition have been randomly selected. The winner of the $75.00 photo gift certificate is a cheer parent from the Keene Knights in the New Hampshire conference. The winner of the team photo CD is the Meriden Raiders Under-12 (Small, Red) cheer team from the Mid-Connecticut conference.

The photos are logically sorted and organized by state, town, and team. I’ve also included links to unsorted galleries for the morning and afternoon awards ceremonies (which contain some excellent non-action team and coach photos). These photos are not in order, so if you find a group of photos for your team at the beginning of the gallery, you may also find another group elsewhere in the gallery.

The photos will be available for 30 days and I am offering several holiday discount promotions (which will appear during the ordering process). The discounts are built-in to the gallery prices; if you qualify for a discount, it will automatically be deducted from your total during the checkout process. You do not need to enter any special discount codes when placing your order.
